The Polytechnic Institute is working to develop its national and international linkages. Through such linkages, students and faculty will have golden opportunity to have exposure to new ideas, creativity, and innovations. In 2014, PNMHI helped researchers from Yale University and the Nepal Study Center of the University of New Mexico to conduct an arsenic study. In January 2015, PNMHI helped run a workshop about the proposed Lumbini Center for Sustainability. The workshop was attended by scholars from Kathmandu University, Nepal Engineering College, and the universities from USA and China.
